Founder, McLauchlan's Sweet Potato Crisps

After spending last summer in Mexico, Lucy and I came across a Mexican man just making normal fresh crisps on the street; the theatre of it was fantastic. You got to see the potato go from raw state to finished product in a matter of minutes! These crisps were incredible. Hot, crunchy and full of flavour, heaps better than your packaged product. That's when I had this light bulb moment. Why can't this be recreated in the UK with an alternative root vegetable, like sweet potato? The consumer is becoming more aware of what they are eating, and what we do at McLauchlan’s is break down all the barriers and show you exactly what goes in to your snack.
