Founder, The Eleven

Rob O'donovan

Rob founded The Eleven with his best mate from school when he was seventeen, and accidentally but gleefully began his love affair with creating companies. From initial forays into underage club nights, The Eleven grew into a small network of marketing agencies that enabled brands to make sense of a new, digitally savvy and ultra demanding generation of consumers: BORN SOCIAL, making pretty andYOUTH. More recently, a love for "starting stuff" and desperate to see new ideas happen, Rob set out to build the best place in the world to create companies. The Eleven is a a startup studio with an ambition to builds brilliant ideas into brilliant businesses, and aims to found 100 pioneering companies over the next decade. The first of those to emanate from the studio is CharlieHR, the free HR platform for small companies. Through automating many of the administrative headaches that accompany a fast growing business - from onboarding new employees and managing their data securely to tracking time off and sick days - CharlieHR affords founders and their teams more of the very thing they need most: time.
